Thumbelina Process

From my favorite movie of all time, Thumbelina(1994), which represents a love I want to have someday.

This is where it all began and as you can see that my drawing went through a process. I like to use reference photos to really help me perfect my work. I sketched it out and then I drew it on a Wacom tablet onto illustrator and went back and forth coloring the characters on Photoshop and Illustrator. My goal was to have it be more of a childish style as the original is really clean and neat.
